Islam places great importance on the family. It fundamentally considers the family institution as the cornerstone of any society and emphasizes beginning every good deed within the family. Similarly, if any evil exists, Islam urges that it should first be eradicated within the family. Islam outlines the rights and duties of every family member, including mothers, sisters, daughters, sons, wives, and husbands. The ultimate success in the Hereafter is regarded as the true success in Islam. Therefore, Islam instructs that the family should be prepared and guided towards achieving success in the Hereafter. It encourages every Muslim to first prepare themselves and then their family for this ultimate success.
This article focuses on the Qur'anic verse "Protect yourselves and your families from a Fire," addressing all believers and providing guidance on the education and upbringing of one's wife, children, and household members. The verse begins by commanding the believers to protect themselves and their families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones. The article includes an introduction, conceptual analysis, and a detailed exegesis of the verse, discussing the characteristics and responsibilities of the head of the family according to the Qur'an. These responsibilities include demonstrating good manners, enjoining what is right, showing love towards children, and more. After discussing the key points and messages of the verse, the article concludes with a comprehensive summary. The above-mentioned points will be discussed in detail in the article.
