Among Muslims, discussing and compiling various aspects of the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) has always been a focal point of expressing deep reverence and love for him. This enduring devotion is evident from the fact that even during Prophet’s (PBUH) lifetime, numerous poets and literary figures praised him in their works. Additionally, many traditions were narrated by the companions, focusing solely on the life, character, and speech of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Among all these narrators, the most reliable and authentic is the one who not only lived with the Prophet (PBUH) from childhood until his final moments but also made the Prophet's (PBUH) life a model for his own—that is, Amir al-Muminin Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS).
The sayings of Imam Ali (AS) have been recorded in various books, but one of the most significant compilations, respected and trusted by both Shia and Sunni communities, is "Nahjul Balagha." This book contains the profound and insightful words of Imam Ali (AS), which provide a deep understanding of the different aspects of the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The present article discusses this topic in a descriptive manner, exploring how the life of the Prophet (PBUH) is introduced and portrayed in Nahjul Balagha.
