Allah Almighty has divided human beings into different nations and tribes and declared them as the means of identity. These nations and tribes combine to make societies. There are two types of societies: the divine society and the non-divine society. These societies sometimes make progress and at times plunge to backwardness, their rise and fall occur in different ways, but it happens because of human being. What are these ways? And how they are adopted? This paper briefly explains the reasons behind why and when a society rises or falls. This paper has four discourses.
The first discourse consists of recognition of meaning and it discusses the literal and terminological meanings of society and its reform. The second discourse describes the Qur'anic way of life. In the third discussion, the types of society have been described and the fourth discussion deals with the ways of reforming the society in the Qur'anic way of life.
A few methods of reforming the society such as following divine teachings, establishment of unity and integrity, dispensation of justice and collective education and training have been highlighted in the paper.
