1. Family life is the oldest entity among human institution, and it exists in every society and every region. It is not only a source of spiritual peace and satisfaction, but also guides people towards objectivity and thinking. Islam lays great emphasis on family life. Today, the entire planet earth is becoming individual centric and the family life is no exception. The phenomenon is not restricted to the West; it has encompassed the East as well.
2. Couples are at odds and they live inconveniently.
3. Couples are unaware of their family responsibilities and lack real mental harmony.
4. Women's employment also adds to domestic problems.
5. Sometimes the joint family system brings the family life to the tragic end.
Solution to all these problems lies in implementation of the Islamic Shari'ah and to make the Sirah of the Prophet (PBUH) a role model. Adhering to this will save the family system from further degradation.
