The Quran is a complete code of life. It has given guidance about all the principles of individual and collective life. Today, Muslim societies lack interfaith harmony. The non-Muslims living among Muslim societies are far away from a society with ideal interfaith harmony, which the Quran demands.
The Quran categorizes non-Muslims on many accounts. There are some religions, which are based on polytheism and infidelity and are far from monotheism.
As human beings, Islam defined their rights and took care of their being human. No one has the right to humiliate a human being.
There are other religions that believe in monotheism. Islam has openly invited them to come and worship the same One God whom you recognize as One. By agreeing to this fundamental belief, let us establish a society based on mutual cooperation in which we all have equal rights.
Nowadays, the minorities face various social evils and problems. They are called by bad names. Their worship places are attacked. They are killed on the charge of blasphemy even before moving court.
All these issues need to be viewed in the light of the Quranic injunctions so that we may get the right guidance from the Quran and succeed in creating a society, which is a Quranic society.
