The main foundation of human life is family and the mankind is dependent on it. Having a strong family base is synonym to truthfulness and nobility of society. Family lifestyle is facing countless problems and difficulties in the present times. In case these issues are not identified and resolved, this could endanger society’s integrity and honesty. Family development in a society can be guaranteed if all the members of a family are well aware of their responsibilities that have been described in the Islamic teachings and are adhering to them as well. Family has been termed as focus of attention in the Quranic teachings as being the basic unit and acting as an axis in the development and training of an Islamic society. It is understood in the light of the research of Islamic sources that the Quran describes the best way of how to spend life and it is possible to find solutions to family problems and difficulties by following these God’s commandments.
