The use of social media platforms has undoubtedly changed the social, educational, and psychological experiences of adolescents in the modern day media landscape. In addition to being a great communication, learning, creativity, and information tool, social media has grown to be so frequently and overexploited that it is of health consideration, since It can lead to addiction, cyber bullying, misinformation, and a breach of privacy, moral decay and mental health issues. Dilemmas faced by Muslim adolescents not only relate to social and psychological responsibilities but also ethical and religious responsibilities, which are controlled by principles of Shure techniques or Sharia's. The current study aims to discuss the phenomenon of teenagers' use of social media from Islamic perspective and promote the consideration of goals of Sharia' (Masjid al-Sharia's) toward that phenomenon. The results suggest that social media is a technology that is neither good nor bad and its ethical implications relate to the way the technology is used. It also suggests the need for a joint parent-educator-religious scholar-policymaker initiative to promote ethical and responsible use of social media by Muslim young people.
