Quranic style of family life and Sileh Rahmi (kindness to relatives)

Abstract

Allah Almighty created the universe and settled it with human beings and made every individual dependent on others and thus created a society to fulfill each other’s needs. All people live together in a society and help each other in time of need. Allah Almighty revealed the great book, the Holy Quran with clearly manifested principles and rules for the society. One of the most important injunctions is sileh-rahmi [kindness to relatives]. The Quran and Hadith lay much emphasis on sileh-rahmi, exhorting the humans to spend their lives as per Quranic injunctions and adopt sileh-rehmi in family life. This topic has been chosen to address the problems faced by the society.
