Importance of lawful earning and its role in strengthening family system

Abstract

Islam is a religion of purity, cleanliness and hygiene, and it requires purity and cleanliness from it followers. In Islam, great emphasis has been given on both the cleanliness and purity of body and soul, as cleanliness has been termed as the half of the religion. Cleanliness has been mentioned as an especial characteristic of the Holly Prophet. Physical and spiritual hygiene and purity play key roles in personal development and national building. They become identification of nations and improve the respect and grace of the civilization. They determine the personality of humans. Though Islam emphasizes upon cleanliness and hygiene of the body but it stresses more on purity of the soul. This is because the spiritual purity contributes heavily in promoting the ethics and thinking of people and strengthen the family system. Therefore, in this article, the earning of wealth and resources through Halal or religiously approved sources has been described in the light of the Quran and Sunnah.  given special emphasis in this article, so that it becomes clear to the readers that earning through rightful means strengthens the family system while eating Haram destroys and destabilizes the family system.
