Abstract

This research thesis, titled “The Role of the Holy Qur’an in the Intellectual, Moral, and Social Development of Human Life,” aims to demonstrate that the Holy Qur’an is a complete code of life and the ultimate source of guidance for humanity. The study explains that human beings require guidance in every aspect of their individual, family, moral, spiritual, and social lives, while human understanding and experiences are always prone to error. Therefore, Almighty Allah revealed the Holy Qur’an for the guidance of mankind so that people may attain success in both this world and the Hereafter through its teachings. The thesis presents an analytical and research-based study of human dignity, vicegerency, knowledge, piety, pure life (Hayat-e-Tayyibah), moral virtues, family system, social responsibility, and spiritual perfection in the light of Qur’anic verses, Prophetic traditions, and the sayings of Ahl al-Bayt (A.S). Furthermore, the Qur’an guides humanity from ignorance, darkness, selfish desires, and moral deviation toward the light of guidance, justice, piety, knowledge, and righteous living. The findings of this research prove that the Holy Qur’an is not only a source of intellectual and spiritual development but also provides effective solutions to the moral, social, and psychological problems of the modern age, offering humanity a comprehensive system for living a balanced, honorable, and successful life.
